Why choose this tour?

  • Hands on experience. Nothing is comparable to get a hands-on experience of being in a real class with a real instructor, who coaches you on proper techniques along-with responding to your questions.

  • Cooking classes are fun!  Having fun and simply enjoying a new experience are all great reasons to enroll in a dessert class. Whether you sign up as a couple, with your best friend or for a mother-daughter experience,  you are sure to have a few laughs.

  • Homemade dessert is the best. You hardly find these desserts at a cake shop, these are real homemade sweets, our recipes have been gathered over many generations. Grandma knows best, especially when it comes to home-style cooking.

  • Private event. You will enjoy a private hands-on Hungarian dessert class, a fully customized program.

  • It’s great chance to ask questions only a local can answer. Your instructor is a native of the area. Take advantage of our knowledge, food-related and beyond. We answer questions about the language, where to find a great cup of coffee, and which restaurants are hidden gems, not to mention which markets or other sites you should check out.

“Andrew was able to fit us in for a cooking class very last minute and we were so thankful because it was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Budapest! It was so delicious and we felt very comfortable as his directions were easy to follow. The class was held in a local home and he sent us all the recipes so we could attempt to recreate them at home!”

Linda A. from Chicago, USA

“What a great day! We decided to take a cooking class in Budapest since both of us have Hungarian roots and grew up eating the cuisine. They made it seem so easy and infused our lesson with cooking tips, info on Hungarian culture, etc. Everything was all so delicious and we can’t wait to try it at home. Definitely a must do in Budapest if you love food and/or cooking!”

Simonne F. From Los Angeles, USA

“If you’re looking for an informal and intimate cooking class this is the place. The class will be at your pace and you will definitely leave satisfied. You’ll get a true sense of how the locals live. This class is small and you never feel intimidated. Thank you Agnes for a memorable day! We left so full that we skipped dinner that night!!”
