In this private, hands-on strudel making class in Budapest, you’ll learn the delicate technique of stretching paper-thin dough from scratch, just as it’s been done for generations in Hungarian homes.
But this experience goes beyond pastry.
Alongside your strudel, we’ll prepare a traditional Hungarian goulash — creating a complete, authentic meal you’ll enjoy together at the end of the class.
Within 4 hours, you’ll gain practical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of Hungarian home cooking in a calm, personal setting.
After the cooking, we’ll sit down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, paired with Hungarian wine, pálinka, coffee, and tea.
This private experience is relaxed, personal, and entirely hands-on, guided in English throughout.

You can book and pay online in advance, or pay on the day of the experience in cash. Please note that online bookings go through the booking system, which may add a processing fee. Cash payments on the day do not include this fee. We accept EUR, USD, and Hungarian Forint.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options can usually be accommodated — just let me know in advance. The menu does not include fish or shellfish.
