Enjoy a private gluten free Hungarian cooking class in the warm atmosphere of a real Budapest home kitchen.
Guided by a friendly local host, you will learn how to prepare traditional Hungarian dishes adapted with gluten free ingredients while discovering authentic local flavors, cooking techniques, and food culture.
This hands-on experience allows everyone to cook together in a relaxed and personal setting far from crowded tourist restaurants.
During the class, no wheat flour is used, and ingredients are carefully selected for gluten free cooking. Please note that this is not a dedicated gluten free kitchen, as traditional flour is present in the home.
The experience ends with a leisurely shared meal together, accompanied by Hungarian wine, coffee, tea, and optional pálinka.
The private cooking class is fully hands-on and taught in English.

You will prepare a traditional three-course Hungarian meal from scratch. Before the class, you can choose your preferred menu from our selection of soups, main courses, and desserts, including classics such as goulash, chicken paprikash, stuffed cabbage or spaetzle.
Do I need any cooking experience?
No cooking experience is needed. This Budapest cooking class is designed for beginners and experienced home cooks alike. You will be guided step by step throughout the experience.

Traditional Hungarian cuisine often uses flour, but many classic dishes can be adapted successfully for gluten free cooking while preserving authentic flavors

We usually begin at 10:00 am, but I’m flexible and can adjust the timing to fit your plans.

Yes. Families with children are very welcome, and the experience can be adapted to younger participants.
How can we pay?
You can book and pay online in advance, or pay on the day of the experience in cash. Please note that online bookings go through the booking system, which may add a processing fee. Cash payments on the day do not include this fee. We accept EUR, USD, and Hungarian Forint.
